Beneath The Sea is an award-winning, not-for-profit corporation dedicated to increasing awareness of the earth's oceans and the sport of scuba diving. Beneath The Sea's 32nd annual exposition will feature seminars, workshops, exhibits and demonstrations by hundreds of scuba diving manufacturers, dive shops, resort and travel industry, and other scuba diving-related professionals. Diver of The Year, Women Divers Hall of Fame, an assortment of parties...it’s all right here! And for the non-diver, you can try your hand (or fin) with a Discover Scuba experience.
There will be a Friday night series of 6 free technical diving seminars from 6PM to 9PM in the expo hall. There's a free Friday Welcome Party for all attendees and exhibitors. Saturday evening's Film Festival will showcase the fabulous works of world-renowned underwater videographers.

The Ohio Council of Skin and Scuba Divers, Inc (OCSSDI) is comprised of professional diving-related businesses and more than 15 scuba clubs in the state of Ohio. Their annual get-together has evolved over the years to an expo that is open to the general public. The Council’s ScubaFest 2008 dive show will be held at the Holiday Inn at the Roberts Centre in Wilmington, Ohio.
Another OCSSDI member, the Gavia Scuba Club of Greater Cincinnati, sponsors the International Underwater Images Photo and Video Competition at ScubaFest 2008. This is one of the top five non-profit photographic competitions in the world. Exploration Design Studio-Xds is a silver level sponsor for this prestigious contest.

As the Official Jewelers to the National Speleological Society-Cave Diving Section, Exploration Design Studio-Xds is proud to join our fellow cave divers at the festivities lined up for this year's annual Cave Diving Workshop to be held over the 2008 Memorial Day weekend.
The NSS-CDS Workshop brings together cave divers from around the world to share their experiences in exploration, efforts and the help they provide in conservation, advances in scuba diving technology and improvements in training. If you've wondered how people scuba dive INSIDE of the earth, are thinking about starting your cavern or cave diving training, or even if you are a seasoned veteran, this workshop is definately for you!
To begin the weekend, stop over for a terrific Friday night Social with cookout hosted at the Jackson County Citizens Lodge starting at 7PM. Engage in a Fireside Chat and share stories with famous cave diving explorers Woody Jasper, Wes Skiles, Jill Heinerth, Forrest Wilson, Gene Melton, Paul Heinerth, Larry Green and more.
The main event with noted speakers, exhibiting companies and luncheon is on Saturday, May 24 at the Jackson County Agricultural Center. Presentations include those from Dr. Tom Iliffe, German Yanez, Jill Heinerth, Tom Mount, Jarrod Jablonski and Don Shirley; door prizes and raffles will be held throughout the day; and, come see the evening film presentations by Wes Skiles, Jill Heinerth and Becky Kagan.
