The Xds Premier Double Tank pendant is yet another example of our high standards - let's take a look at what's involved.

Constructed from eleven separate pieces, this stunning 14-kt gold, 10 gm pendant is the culmination of technique, precision, and skill. The normal method of casting each tank as a solid unit of this size and weight would have resulted in the very common occurrence of tank distortion upon cooling in the mold. This was totally unacceptable to us.

Instead, we chose a precision method of building-up each individual tank in the set from two separate internal pieces. This allows us to maintain excellent dimensional stability for a more accurate and pleasing appearance. A small void remains undetectable in the center of each tank as a result of this precision method -- this technically prevents us from calling them solid. However, the significant and satisfying heft and weight of our one-inch pendant (excluding the bail) negates this presence.

The end result is that our tanks are beautiful, sleek, and curvaceous - they curve where they're supposed to curve! Once the individual components are handcrafted, inspected, and polished, our professional jewelers begin the loving but arduous task of assembling the set. The gorgeous 14-kt white gold dual DIN- valve modular manifold with isolator valve angled slightly forward is inserted; the14-kt white gold tank bands are slid on, positioned, and attached; the three 14-kt yellow gold rotating valve knobs are set and tested; and, the large 4.0 mm bail is affixed. When completed, the piece is inspected and polished again. Our double tanks are a matched set, just like the ones you dive. The making of our Premier Double Tank Pendant requires extensive time, labor, and skill, but we know that you seek the Very Best.
