Men
For many men, an 18-inch chain length may be perfect when wearing the necklace against the skin, such as you might do while wearing a dress shirt with the top button or two undone, or with a regular cut T-shirt. If you plan on wearing your chain so that it falls on the outside of loose T-shirts or heavy sweatshirts, a 20-inch length might be better.
Women
